Terms of Membership
In force from 27 September 2026
This site is run by INT-TECH LIMITED, a company registered in England and Wales. The World of Aerth is published by Virtus Invicta. Contact: inttechuk@gmail.com
1. About these terms
These terms apply to everyone who uses this site, and to members who create an account. By creating an account you agree to them. Please read them with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.
In these terms, “we” and “us” mean INT-TECH LIMITED, which runs the site. “You” means the person using it.
2. Who can join
Membership is open to people aged 18 or over. By joining you confirm that you are. One account per person, and the details you give must be true. If we learn that a member is under 18, we will close the account and delete its data.
3. Your account
You sign in with your email address and a password, or with your Google account. Keep your password to yourself and tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account. You are responsible for what is done through your account, unless it was used without your fault.
4. Membership
Membership is free at present. It gives access to the Players’ Hall and to material marked for members. We may add, change or withdraw features. If we ever offer paid membership, it will come with its own terms and price shown before you buy, and we will never charge you without your agreement.
5. Using the site
Please use the site lawfully and fairly. In particular, do not:
- try to reach areas you are not allowed into, or get around sign-in or access controls;
- copy the site in bulk, scrape it, or use automated tools to harvest it;
- interfere with the site’s security or running, or upload anything harmful;
- share your account, or pass on material kept for members or Game Masters.
6. Our content
The text, art, maps and names of the World of Aerth belong to Virtus Invicta and its licensors, and are protected by copyright and other rights. You may read and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial play, including at your own table. You may not republish, sell, or build commercial products from them, or use them to train artificial intelligence systems, without written permission.
7. Material for Game Masters
Some pages are kept for named Game Masters. If you are given that access, keep the material to yourself and your preparation. It is not to be shared with players or published.
8. What the setting contains
The World of Aerth is a work of fiction for adults. It includes horror, violence, death, religious institutions and dark themes. Nothing in it is advice or a statement of fact about the real world.
9. Closing an account
You can delete your membership at any time from the Your membership page, or by emailing us at inttechuk@gmail.com. Deletion is permanent: your account and the contact details held with it are removed at once, or, if a technical fault delays it, automatically as soon as the fault clears and never later than 30 days.
We may suspend or delete an account that breaks these terms, or to protect the site or other members. Where it is fair to do so, we will tell you first and explain why.
10. Availability and our responsibility
We try to keep the site available and accurate, but we do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free from errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.
11. Your personal data
How we use your data is explained in the Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell members before it takes effect, for example on the site or by email. If you do not agree, you can close your account.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales may hear any dispute. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings there. If you live elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws where you live.
