Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

INT-TECH LIMITED is the controller of the personal data described here, under the UK General Data Protection Regulation, the Data Protection Act 2018 and, for visitors in the European Union, the EU General Data Protection Regulation. For anything about your data, write to inttechuk@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

• Account details when you join: your email address, the name or nickname you give, and your password. Passwords are stored only in scrambled (hashed) form, so nobody, us included, can read them. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google and no password.
• Membership records: when you joined and last signed in, and your status on the site (Player, Game Master or Suspended).
• Messages you send us, and our replies.
• Technical data collected as you use the site: your IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and cookie identifiers. See the Cookie Policy.

We do not ask for special category data, such as health or beliefs, and we do not use your data for automated decisions that affect you.

3. Why we use it, and our legal basis

We do not sell your data, and we do not send you marketing. If we ever offer a newsletter, you will have to opt in to it.

4. Who we share it with

• Hostinger International Ltd, who host the site, its database and its email for us, as our processor under their data processing agreement.
• Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google: Google confirms who you are and gives us your name and email address.
• Professional advisers, such as accountants or lawyers, when needed.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

5. International transfers

The site and its data are hosted by Hostinger in the United Kingdom. If you sign in with Google, Google may process your sign-in outside the UK and the European Economic Area; such transfers are protected by adequacy regulations or decisions, or by standard contractual clauses with the UK addendum. You can ask us for details.

6. How long we keep it

• Account and membership data: while your account is open. When you delete your membership (on the Your membership page, or by asking us), the account and its contact record are deleted at once; if a technical fault delays this, it is completed automatically, and always within 30 days. We keep only what the law requires us to.
• Messages: up to 2 years after the matter is settled.
• Technical logs kept by our host: for a few weeks, for security.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

• ask for a copy of your data;
• have it corrected;
• have it deleted;
• restrict or object to how we use it;
• receive it in a portable format;
• withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

Email inttechuk@gmail.com. We will reply within one month. There is normally no charge.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk, 0303 123 1113), or, in the EU, to the data protection authority where you live.

8. Age

Membership is for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger, and we delete it if we find we have.

9. Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection. Passwords are stored only in hashed form, and access to member and Game Master areas is checked on the server for every page.

10. Changes

We will post any changes here and update the date above. If a change is significant, we will tell members.
