A surveyors' body named as the issuer of circulars; the circular quoted in this part describes chart-making as survey, compilation, engraving and correction, with correction paid from a vote that is always the first to be cut.
A body that issues circulars and compilations, including a compilation of foreign judgements on Britannia and circulars on companies and on the knowledge proper to class and trade. The surveyors' body whose circulars carry Arthur Venn's observations on Basin loss registers, edge ports, the interior, the Glass Heads, extraction reports and station ports.
