Soot Court

Porto Cenere's court for its soot law, which forbids moving the yellow dust into the water, through certain streets or aboard on clothing. It sits continuously and weekly in public, has summary powers over cargo, and also decides when the ash-farmed terraces are abandoned or reoccupied.
