Sarrum watch

The council's small body of local constables, attached in law to conduit quarters, who take bodies and complaints, carry summonses and notices, and may hold a man one night before the council's clerk.
The city watch, which polices four things and treats the made ground as another jurisdiction it does not enter.

At the table
They may not search premises or enter hall or company ground; their value is access, since people who will not speak to a Grey Pike will speak to Judd. The watch does not go into the Straggle after dark, and Judd's watch book covers one quarter only.
