The Grey Necromancer War

A war of 4498–4504 A.C. fought over corpse traffic: grave roads under mixed escort, exhumations under arms, barrows sealed or reconsecrated at ruinous cost. Its worst night was the Lantern Graves Massacre; the Siege of Pale Orchard Abbey remains the standing case of the Concord of Saint Winnow.
