The Canterbury Obedience War

The war of 3942–3949 A.C. that transferred the ordering of rite from Canterbury to Oxford. Canterbury kept its local see, cathedral, chapter, lands and burial rights and lost only its island-wide ordering function. It is distinct from the later translation of the provincial archbishopric.
